Finmatix Financial Consulting Limited (‘Finmatix’) was founded in 2016 by Phil Evans and is based in Bradford on Avon, nr. Bath.  Finmatix principally aims to increase access to top-tier financial due diligence and deal advice on potential acquisitions, disposals and financing transactions for ambitious smaller and medium sized businesses across the UK.

Finmatix can also provide specialist FD level support to strengthen your finance teams on a project or recurring basis.
 

ABOUT PHIL EVANS - DIRECTOR

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 2002, Phil specialised in M&A financial advisory, initially at Grant Thornton in Birmingham, followed by 10 years at KPMG Deal Advisory based in London and Bristol.  Phil has advised on 100+ successful M&A and funding assignments, spanning corporate, banking and private equity clients across a range of sectors, with a focus on consumer and industrial markets.

Phil has fine-tuned financial analysis skills with extensive due diligence report writing experience, appreciating how to convey key findings in a concise and impactful way for stakeholders.

In the two years prior to founding Finmatix, Phil operated as Finance Director in a high growth, healthcare business based in Bath. This provides an industry and client perspective on balancing day-to-day financial operations with parallel growth, investment and funding projects.
